Group Tours (5 or more people)
- Reservations must be made at least 2 weeks in advance. Staff will guide you around the Interim Storage Facility.
- For more information, please contact the Interim Storage Facility Information Center.
- When contacting us, please provide the name of your group, name of a representative, contact information (phone number and e-mail address), preferred date of visit (multiple dates), preferred time (morning or afternoon) and anticipated number of people.

| Tour | Participants are allowed to get off the bus during and will be able to experience radiation measurement on a completed soil storage facility. | |
| Application | Reservations for the tour must be made in advance. Please read the Important Tour Information below and send a completed Interim Storage Facility Tour Application Form to the Interim Storage Facility Information Center by e-mail. “Course Number" is mandatory. You will be contacted at least 5 days before the tour with a list of important points to keep in mind on the day. In case of tour cancellation or changes, you will be contacted by our staff. |

Important Tour Information
- When entering the "Difficult-to-Return Zone”, we will check your identity, so please bring a photo ID issued by a public institution (e.g., passport). If there is a discrepancy between the application form and the ID (for example, the surname on the ID and the application are different), we will refuse admission.
- Please follow the staff’s instructions. Any disruptive behavior may be dealt with by canceling or discontinuing the tour.
- Participants are responsible for keeping their valuables safe at all times.
- The tour may be canceled or changed in the case of bad weather.
- Participants are not allowed to bring any pets except guide dogs, assistant dogs or hearing dogs (there are no facilities to temporarily take care of your pet.).
- Eating and smoking are not allowed during the tour; drinking is allowed only in the bus.
- Photographing is allowed of Soil Separation facilities and Soil Storage facilities. For privacy reasons, please do not take photos of any persons or houses from the car. Please also refrain from videotaping or audio recording during the tour, as it may annoy or disturb other visitors.
- Photos of the tour may be posted on the websites of the Ministry of the Environment and JESCO in a form that does not identify individuals.
- If you are participating in the Interim Storage Facility Tour, please refrain from wearing sandals or high heels. Please wear comfortable shoes such as sneakers.
- When you get off the bus during the tour, the soles of your shoes are inspected one last time to check for surface contamination with radioactive materials.
